This research explores the significance and contemporary relevance of Tafsir bil-Ma’sur—the classical Qur’anic exegesis method based on authentic Hadith, the sayings of the Sahabah, and the reports of the Tabi‘un. It analyzes how this traditional methodology ensures the preservation of Qur’anic authenticity and protects Islamic interpretation from modern ideological distortions.
