Wheat Germ and Its Biological Activity –A Comprehensive Review

Wheat germ's bioactive qualities and health advantages have been well investigated. Studies reveal its antioxidant, antiinflammatory, and anticancer properties; special focus should be on fermented wheat germ as it shows potential intreating disorders including prostate cancer. Important research center on its contribution to lower oxidative stress, support of muscular performance, better glycemic response, and gut health enhancement. Additionally investigated arethe dietary uses for wheat germ, including managing gluten sensitivity and raising food nutritional quality. Developmentin fermentation and extraction methods keeps improving its possibilities in food science and medicine. This study aimsto investigate the bioactive elements of wheat germ and assess its possible use as a functional food ingredient therebysupporting disease prevention and health enhancement.
