Controlled Irrationality (CI) v1.4: A Structural Framework for Rationality Under Pressure
Controlled Irrationality (CI) v1.4 is a baseline-stable structural frameworkfor analyzing how rationality emerges, collapses, and reorganizes under pressure. CI does not assume rationality as a default human property.Instead, rationality is treated as a contingent, state-based outcomeproduced through structured interaction between event pressure, internal revision capacity, adoption barriers, implementation constraints, and system-level environments. This release defines the v1.4 baseline specification. It fixes the conceptual roles, boundaries, and non-roles of all core components, and prohibits further reinterpretation that would collapse layers or reintroducedeprecated loop structures. This record provides an overview only.Canonical rules and formal specifications are defined in separate documents. Scope declaration:CI v1.4 does not provide behavioral predictions, optimization targets, moral evaluations, or policy prescriptions. It defines structural boundaries, not applications.
