The Role of Social Determinants of Health in Modern Community
This article, “The Role of Social Determinants of Health in Modern Communities,” examines how non-medical social factors—such as income, education, employment, housing, and environment—shape overall health and well-being. It highlights how unequal access to resources creates health disparities between communities and discusses public health strategies to promote equity. Through evidence-based analysis and a focused case study from Kyrgyzstan, the paper emphasizes the importance of intersectoral collaboration, policy integration, and social empowerment in building healthier, more equitable societies.
