Communities of Practice Governance Framework
A Community of Practice (CoP) is a stakeholder engagement format to facilitate peer learning, mutual support, and collaboration. The PRECIOUS project establishes two CoPs in Greece and Spain, respectively, with the aim of co-creating PRECIOUS food loss and waste prevention and reduction actions, as well as their assessment. The present document outlines a Governance Framework for these CoPs, providing details on the Strategy and Approach, including monitoring and evaluation, and suggests a Local Implementation Plan. Additionally, it offers a Manual with concrete instructions, templates, and tools setting up and implementing the CoPs. It is intended to support in particular the PRECIOUS project partners responsible for facilitating the CoPs. The framework supports their efforts in implementing and facilitating CoPs to ensure long-term engagement, promote knowledge exchange, and translate project insights into actionable outcomes. This deliverable builds upon the Stakeholder Mapping D6.1. and aims to foster close practical synergies between WP6 and WP3, as well as tasks 1.4, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, and 6.3.Against this background, the document aims to guide CoP hosts, as well as the PRECIOUS consortium, in organizing of CoPs as an effective stakeholder engagement tool.
