FrequenSync Therapy (FQST): A Neuroscience-Informed Framework for Anxiety Management and Cognitive Re-Training
This paper introduces FrequenSync Therapy (FQST) — a neuroscience-informed framework for anxiety management and cognitive re-training developed by Henry He, founder of the FQST Institute. The framework integrates neuro-frequency regulation theory with cognitive and behavioral training to address the limitations of traditional anxiety therapies such as CBT and ACT, especially in moments when rational control collapses under high emotional arousal. Grounded in the ABC Frequency Model, FQST conceptualizes anxiety as a frequency shift within the brain from balanced cognitive states (A/B frequencies) to survival-driven modes (C frequencies), where the amygdala dominates perception and disrupts prefrontal reasoning. The system includes seven structured training modules designed to resynchronize amygdala–prefrontal activity and rebuild emotional stability. Based on pilot data from over 300 participants trained between 2022 and 2025 across online and offline programs in China, preliminary findings suggest a significant reduction in anxiety intensity and panic frequency. This study positions FQST as both a therapeutic and educational innovation — bridging neuroscience, experiential learning, and mental health education. The ongoing development of the FQST International Certification System aims to extend the model’s application globally, providing structured training for patients and practitioners within a scientifically grounded, frequency-based approach to mental health.
