Shah Jubaer's Adaptive Governance Theory
International environmental treaties, including the Paris Agreement and the Convention on Biological Diversity, impose enforceable obligations mandating nations to undertake specific environmental initiatives. Notwithstanding their legal authority, difficulties in compliance, oversight, and adaptability have constrained their enduring efficacy. This research formulates the Shah Jubaers Adaptive Governance Theory (SJAGT), a conceptual framework designed to enhance the effectiveness of international environmental treaties over the next 30 to 40 years. SJAGT incorporates adaptive compliance, multi-tiered accountability, and technological integration, offering a dynamic framework for sustainable global environmental governance.
