ψ-Ω-Field: The Lagrangian of Retained Light and Silent Continuation (Part V of the ψ-Architecture of Difference Series)
Ω-Field continues the ψ-Architecture of Difference into its fifth phase — the Ω-threshold, where light ceases to radiate and begins to retain its own memory. This paper introduces the Lagrangian ΛΩ, defining the Ω-state as persistence without emission — illumination folded into retention. By formalizing the transition from visible time to retained duration, ψ-Ω shows that endurance is not a mechanical property of matter but a relational act of memory. The work connects physics and ethics: each Ω-quantum acts as a gesture of care after light has withdrawn. ψ-Ω thus completes the ψ-series following ψ⁸ (Difference Beyond Observation), ψ-Mew (Pre-Temporal Retention), ψ-LUX (Illumination as Being), and ψ-Aurora-Chronon (Time as Held Light), establishing a unified ontology of persistence and ethical continuation. Part of the ψ-Architecture Series, this work defines the ψ-Ω-Field — a Lagrangian model of light retention and silent continuation. It completes the ψ-School of Retention, establishing the topology of memory as a physical and ethical field.
