Iron Deficiency Anemia and Vitamin B12 Deficiency Anemia
Anemia is a condition characterized by a decrease in the number of red blood cells (RBCs) or the amount of hemoglobin in the blood, resulting in reduced oxygen-carrying capacity. Among various types of anemia, Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) and Vitamin B12 Deficiency Anemia are the most common nutritional anemias globally. Both have distinct etiologies, pathophysiologies, and clinical implications.
