ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN CLINICAL TRIALS, VIGILANCE, DATA MANAGEMENT, AND MANAGEMENT OF MULTINATIONAL TRIALS.
ABSTRACT:Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the pharmaceutical sector bysimplifying drug discovery, development, and clinical trials. This research discusses how AIis applied in clinical trials with emphasis on vigilance, data management, and multinationaltrial operations. AI algorithms have the ability to analyse large datasets, predict drug efficacyand toxicity, uncover potential drug targets, and develop new molecules.AI tools canautomatically clean, validate, and monitor data, minimizing the risk of human errors andspeeding up trial periods. AI can also enhance patient compliance and retention byconducting remote health checks and real-time monitoring. AI can also enable managementof multinational trials by negotiating complicated regulation requirements and making sure ofcompliance. AI can help increase efficiency, cost savings, and patient safety and outcomesaccording to the study, which cites the advantages of AI implementation in clinical trials. Butregulatory uncertainty, quality of data, and the requirement of specialist expertise are some ofthe challenges that have to be overcome. This study findings offer stakeholder insights, including sponsors, investigators, and regulatory agencies, on the opportunities andchallenges for AI implementation in clinical trials. Leveraging the potential of AI, clinicaltrials can become efficient, cost-saving, and ultimately better for patients. This researchexamines the uses, advantages, and prospects of AI in clinical trials, how it can transform thepharmaceutical sector.
