Navigating the challenges of Living Labs in EU Horizon projects: Lessons learnt from the HOLiFOOD project on addressing emerging food safety risks
Living Labs (LLs) are increasingly used in Horizon Europe projects to co-create innovation with stakeholders (Schuurman et al., 2016; Schrammel et al., 2023). However, implementing LLs within EU-funded projects often presents challenges, particularly due to the rigid project framework and limited timelines (ENoLL, 2025a, b). This poster presents the ongoing experience of the HOLiFOOD project, which uses the LL approach to address emerging risks in food safety, offering insights into overcoming these challenges.
