ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME
Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide. The diagnosis can be made based on the patient's history, the symptoms presented, the results of the electrocardiogram, and cardiac biomarkers. These elements help differentiate ST-elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) from non-ST elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS).
