KUTATÁSI EGYÜTTMŰKÖDÉS: a ClimEX-PE projekt

On May 8, 2025, the Faculty of Science at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) hosted the third installment of the CHARM-EU Roadshow. A key highlight was the presentation on the ClimEx-PE project by Judit Mádl-Szőnyi. The presentation covered the project's development, including the initial proposal process, the challenges faced, and the lessons learned. It also detailed the innovative Nature-Based Managed Aquifer Recharge (NaBa-MAR) techniques used in the project, the transdisciplinary collaboration within the CHARM-EU alliance, and the project's implementation in pilot areas across Hungary, Spain, and Ireland. The presentation emphasized the importance of integrating scientific research with social, economic, and policy frameworks to enhance water management and resilience. The ClimEx-PE project exemplifies the strong educational and research connections within the CHARM-EU alliance. By leveraging the expertise of multiple disciplines and institutions, the project aims to provide sustainable solutions to global water challenges. The success of the ClimEx-PE project highlights the potential of collaborative efforts in addressing complex environmental issues and sets a precedent for future initiatives within the CHARM-EU framework.
