Oncideres cephalotes was described based on a single female from Brazil (Amazonas) and O. fabricii based on a single female from Brazil (Pará). Currently, it is known from Venezuela (Amazonas), Bolivia (Santa Cruz), French Guiana, Guyana, and Brazil (Amazonas, Pará, and Maranhão) (Monné 2024b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). Material examined. PERU (new country record), Loreto: Betania, Rio Ucayali, 1 male, 26.III.2011, J.J. Ramírez leg. (JJRH).
