Supplementary Serbian Language and Culture Instruction in Slovenia: Legal, Organisational, and Parental Insights
Due to limited scholarly attention to supplementary mother-tongue and culture instruction in Slovenia, we conducted a survey in 2025 among parents of children enrolled in these programs. Using a standardised 32-item questionnaire, the survey assessed organisational and pedagogical experiences, as well as parental expectations for program development. The findings provide a foundation for enhancing the program's effectiveness. This presentation integrates legal, organisational, and parental perspectives. It addresses a critical research gap in supplementary Serbian language and culture instruction in Slovenia.
