SETU CoARA Action Plan

The Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) Action plan represents SETU’s commitment to implementing the ARRA principles, taking into account synergies with the Research, Innovation and Impact strategic plan and previous commitments of the European Commission’s Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) strategy to support the careers of researchers, fostering a supportive and inclusive culture of research excellence. As a signatory of CoARA and the preceding DORA (Declaration on Research Assessment), SETU promotes responsible research assessment, incorporating a holistic emphasis on the quality of diverse activities and outputs from different disciplines. Research outputs, beyond publications, include policies, patents, licenses, standards and performances. SETU’s commitment as a CoARA signatory includes designing research assessment criteria and processes that emphasise quality, integrity, impact, diversity and inclusiveness.
