R = EDOC: The Informational Continuum of Reality
EDOC (Energy–Data–Observation–Consciousness) is a new interpretive framework that describes reality as a continuous process of informational causation. It proposes that existence is not a collection of static objects but an ongoing transformation of information through four causal states — Energy (potential), Data (encoded structure), Observation (realized record), and Consciousness (rendered meaning). Each full cycle E → D → O → C → E forms one unit of realized causality (F = 1 EDOC). By integrating principles from physics, information theory, and systems awareness, EDOC offers a unified grammar connecting energy, information, and experience within one coherent continuum. Empirical constants such as h, c, k_B, and G appear as structural coefficients linking this informational framework to measurable physical laws. In essence, reality is structured information that acquires interpretable meaning after becoming record through observation.
