Original data for: [ STAT3 as a critical target of Sijunzi Decoction in the treatment of gastric cancer: evidence from integrated network pharmacology and experimental validation]
This study integrated network pharmacology and experimental validation to investigate the anti-tumor mechanism of Sijunzi Decoction (SJZD) against gastric cancer. Bioactive compounds and potential targets of SJZD were screened via TCMSP, with gastric cancer-related genes sourced from public databases. STAT3 was identified as a key hub gene through protein-protein interaction (PPI) network analysis. In vivo experiments using 615 mouse models inoculated with MFC cells demonstrated that both early and synchronized administration of SJZD significantly inhibited tumor growth. Western blot and immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyses further confirmed the regulation of STAT3 protein expression by SJZD. The dataset includes:Results of network pharmacology analysis (compound-target network, PPI network, GO/KEGG enrichment)Raw experimental data (mouse body weight, tumor volume/weight)Western blot original images and quantitative analysisIHC staining images
