The economic efficiency of the introduction of a method for predicting scientifically based shelf life and shelf life of corn grains and grain products from it, taking into account biochemical, physico-chemical and biological quality and safety indic

The article is devoted to the analysis of the economic efficiency of the introduction of a method for predicting scientifically based shelf life and shelf life of corn grain and grain products from it, taking into account biochemical, physico-chemical and biological quality and safety indicators. This method, taking into account various indicators of the quality and safety of corn grains and grain products, allows for the first time to formulate standards of freshness and shelf life for them. The economic effect of the introduction of the above-mentioned method is that it makes it possible to: a) calculate the optimal shelf life for each batch of grain and grain products, taking into account their quality and safety; b) determine the optimal storage facilities from an economic point of view for storing the above-mentioned batches of grain and grain products.; c) to increase the objectivity of determining the criteria and shelf life for corn groats and create a new regulatory framework on this basis, which will allow scaling up the economic effect of the developed method of forecasting scientifically based shelf life and shelf life of corn grains and grain products. The work uses a number of scientific research methods, in particular: formal-logical; forecasting; statistical; experimental data processing. The implementation of the method of forecasting scientifically based shelf life and shelf life of corn grains and grain products is hindered by a number of problems, in particular: a) reduction in the number of elevators and other food storage facilities; b) the fact that the subjects of the grain and grain products market are private economic entities, which makes it difficult for authorized bodies to coordinate their activities. public authority; c) the lack of developed and implemented digital solutions in the Russian Federation related to the processing, analysis, and storage of information on grain and grain products storage data, laboratory studies of grain shipments, etc. The solution to these problems will be, for example: a) comprehensive development of grain and grain products storage facilities based on the developed method, linked to the overall development program for various agricultural sectors; b) the development by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation of an automated accounting system for the storage of grain and grain products by economic entities using the method under consideration; c) the creation of a single digital platform "Grain and grain products: collection, storage, processing, logistics, sale, export" to track and coordinate the movement of these food products.
