D7.5 - SUPERSHINE business model and legal entity – Part 2
This second part of Deliverable 7.4 focuses on consolidating the market, strategic, financial, and organisational aspects required to ensure the platform’s successful deployment and commercial sustainability beyond the project’s conclusion. To achieve this, the document provides an updated and detailed Business Plan, including an in-depth description of the platform’s functionalities, value proposition, and innovation potential. It outlines key market trends, analyses competitor offerings, identifies target customers, and presents the OSS’s positioning within the broader European renovation ecosystem. Special attention is given to the revenue model, cost structure, and profitability forecasts, providing a clear framework for sustainable growth. In addition, the deliverable explores the formation of a legal entity—proposed as a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG)—to manage the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) platform. Various structural and governance options are reviewed to help partners determine the most effective model for joint ownership and coordinated exploitation. This legal framework is essential to ensure shared responsibility, transparency, and long-term value for all members. Finally, the deliverable includes a comprehensive financial analysis of the platform’s operational and strategic needs after the project ends, covering a three-year horizon. This includes not only a cost analysis of the technical and non technical expenses required to ensure the smooth and sustainable functioning of the platform, but also a profitability forecasts analysis of all the profits and losses assumed for the first three years of business operation.
