Compatibility of the Micro-Relativity Theory with the GW170817 Multi-Messenger Observations

This document presents the quantitative validation of the Micro-Relativity (MR) theory against the empirical constraints derived from the gravitational-wave event GW170817, the first multi-messenger observation of a binary neutron-star merger. Within the MR framework, space-time is described as a discrete elastic medium with intrinsic tension and inertial density, leading to a natural equality between the propagation speeds of gravitational and electromagnetic waves. The analysis demonstrates that all numerical predictions of Micro-Relativity — including wave velocity, phase dispersion, effective graviton mass, and metric coherence — are consistent with the GW170817 data by margins ranging from eight to forty orders of magnitude below current experimental limits. The results confirm that Micro-Relativity remains structurally compatible with General Relativity in the tested regime, while offering a geometrically emergent interpretation of gravitation and dark-matter-like effects without introducing additional fields or separate metrics. This publication provides a comprehensive reference for researchers and institutions interested in theoretical and observational testing of the Micro-Relativity model in the context of gravitational-wave physics.
