Atmosphere–ocean driven glacial changes in West Graham Land, Antarctic Peninsula: Calving front, sea-ice extent and surface elevation change
The dataset was developed to support the study “Atmosphere–ocean driven glacial changes in West Graham Land, Antarctic Peninsula” [1]. We acknowledge contributions from all co-authors and support from related institutional and research projects. This dataset provides glacier calving front positions, seasonal sea-ice extent, and surface elevation change rate maps for Hoek and Rusalka glaciers, located in West Graham Land, Antarctic Peninsula, between 1990 and 2025. The calving fronts and sea-ice extent were manually delineated from optical satellite images (Landsat, Sentinel-2). Surface elevation change rates (SECRs) were derived from TanDEM-X DEM differencing (2012–2014, 2014–2017).The dataset supports the paper “Atmosphere–ocean driven glacial changes in West Graham Land, Antarctic Peninsula” and contributes to understanding atmosphere–ocean–ice interactions and regional glacier variability.
