Successful Lysogen Formation for Subcluster A9 Phage, ExplosioNervosa

We present experimental data for lysogen formation by ExplosioNervosa, a subcluster A9 phage that was isolated using Mycobacterium smegmatis mc2155. We also present data for a mutant of ExplosioNervosa that lacks the genomic region encoding the predicted immunity repressor for which lysogens could not be raised.

Abstract

We present experimental data for lysogen formation by ExplosioNervosa, a subcluster A9 phage that was isolated using Mycobacterium smegmatis mc2155. We also present data for a mutant of ExplosioNervosa that lacks the genomic region encoding the predicted immunity repressor for which lysogens could not be raised.
