CLINICAL AND LABORATORY SIGNIFICANCE OF D-DIMER LEVELS IN THE PREVENTION OF MISSED ABORTION DURING PREGNANCY
This scientific work examines the clinical and laboratory significance of D-dimer levels in the prevention of missed abortion during pregnancy. The study analyzes the physiological changes in the hemostatic system throughout pregnancy and the mechanisms leading to its pathological disruption. D-dimer, a fibrin degradation product, serves as a reliable biomarker for assessing coagulation and fibrinolysis activity. Research findings show that abnormal fluctuations in D-dimer levels are associated with complications such as placental insufficiency, thrombosis, and pregnancy loss. Regular monitoring of D-dimer concentrations allows for early detection of hemostatic disorders and timely preventive measures, improving maternal and fetal outcomes.
