Rabies - the silent killer: we must stop together

Rabies is one of the oldest and most deadly viral infectious diseases known to humans. It affects the central nervous system, particularly the brain. It spreads to humans primarily through the bite or scratch of an infected animal, most commonly dogs. The disease is almost always fatal once symptoms appear but it is also entirely preventable with timely action.
