Exosome-Based Nanomedicine: A Promising Frontier in Targeted Cancer Therapy
The field of nanomedicine continues to expand rapidly, and among its many subfields, exosome-based therapeutics have recently gained considerable attention. Exosomes—nanosized extracellular vesicles secreted by various cells—play key roles in intercellular communication and hold great promise as natural nanocarriers for drug delivery, particularly in oncology. Their biocompatibility, stability in circulation, and ability to cross biological barriers make them superior candidates over synthetic nanocarriers for targeted cancer therapy.
