THE PEDAGOGICAL POTENTIAL OF FAMILY SUPPORT: THE IMPACT OF ATMOSPHERE AND QUALITY TIME ON CHILDREN'S DEVELOPMENT AND ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
The article examines the pedagogical impact of parental support and family climate on children’s academic outcomes, psycho-emotional development, and social integration. Drawing on scholarly approaches and practice-based observations, it shows that sustained parental involvement, meaningful daily communication, and diverse shared activities foster children’s confidence, learning motivation, self-regulation, and creativity. Children raised in warm, cohesive family environments are less exposed to bullying and more successful in building constructive relationships with peers and teachers. The pedagogical potential of the family goes beyond supervision or homework assistance; it includes creating an emotionally safe space and shared practices (play, reading, household collaboration) that cultivate a child’s sense of value and belonging.
