Supplementary dataset for "Tropical ecosystem shifts at the Eocene-Oligocene Transition in the Southwestern Caribbean Region"

This dataset contains the supplementary material accompanying the manuscript Tropical ecosystem shifts at the Eocene-Oligocene Transition in the Southwestern Caribbean Region. It includes raw micropaleontological counts, geochemical data, statistical analyses, and additional figures and tables supporting the interpretations presented in the paper. File 1 — “Supplementary material_ Tables S1–S4.xlsx”This Excel file contains four separate sheets with raw micropaleontological data derived from core ANH-SJ-1 (NW Colombia): Table S1: Palynological counts Table S2: Calcareous nannofossil counts Table S3: Planktonic foraminiferal counts Table S4: Benthic foraminiferal counts Each sheet includes sample identifiers, and absolute counts used in the manuscript. File 2 — “Supplementary information.pdf”This file contains supplementary figures (S1–S13) and tables (S5–S14), including: Correlations between isotopic records and global stacks (Fig. S1). Ecological zonations for palynology, nannofossils, and benthic foraminifera (Figs S2–S4). PCA of XRF elemental data and summary statistics (Table S7, Fig. S5). Geochemical datasets and statistical test results (Tables S8–S14). Temporal evolution of micropaleontological indices and environmental proxies (Figs S6–S13).
