Front Cover: Nature Products Chlorophyll Derivatives for NIR‐II Fluorescence Bioimaging and Plant‐Imaging (Chem. Eur. J. 52/2024)
A ubiquitous and well-understood natural product, chlorophyll has a variety of applications, and we hypothesized that it could also be applied in NIR-II imaging. A series of experiments were conducted to verify the optical properties and successful applications in NIR-II bioimaging, and plant imaging was performed. With high biocompatibility and readily availability, chlorophylls were found to be promising new dyes for NIR-II imaging. More information can be found in the Research Article by W. Xu, C. Qu, Z.
