ACADEMIC KARIM SHONIYOZOV'S CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE STUDY OF THE HISTORY OF THE KANGJU STATE AND THE KANGJU PEOPLE

This article analyzes the academic contributions of Karim Shoniyozov to the study of the formation, political and economic structure, and ethnic composition of the Kangju state, as well as its role in the ethnogenesis of the Uzbek people. The article also explores archaeological evidence, written sources, ethnographic and anthropological data, and evaluates the role of Chinese and Persian sources in the study of Kangju. The significance of the Kangju heritage in modern historical scholarship is also assessed.

Abstract
