Spoladea recurvalis (Fabricius, 1775) Material examined: Poltava reg., Hadiach city, at light, 6.X.2024, 1 ex. S. Bezuglyi leg. (SB). Odesa reg., Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi distr., 6 km SE of Prymorske vill., 10.X.2024, 3 ex. Ye. Khalaim leg. (YeKh). Distribution in Ukraine: Odesa reg.: Yepishin et al. 2021b: 379. Crimea: Budashkin & Savchuk 2012: 36. First record from Poltava region. Remarks. In Odesa Region (10.X.2024) about 20 specimens were visually noted on the border of farmland and salt marsh meadows. The adults fed during the day on flowers of Melilotus albus Medik. together with such migratory species as Lampides boeticus (Linnaeus, 1767), Leptotes pirithous (Linnaeus, 1767) (Lycaenidae) and Utetheisa pulchella (Linnaeus, 1758) (Erebidae). As previously observed, this species is also attracted to artificial light sources at night.
