Remarks. Lobatoradarea kagoshimensis sp. nov. is characterized by a combination of the large eyes and the strongly produced posteroventral corner of the epimeral plate 2. This combination is unique in the genus. Habitat. Fish reef on sandy-mud bottom with a depth of 21– 23 m. Distribution. Japan: Kagoshima Bay in Kagoshima Prefecture (present study).
