Alphitophagus bifasciatus
Alphitophagus bifasciatus (Say, 1824) Köhler 2013: 101. Material. 1 ex., Frisange, Aspelt, at light, 12.VII.1997, M. Meyer lgt. (MNHNL138555). Note. A detritivore, sometimes synanthropic species, recorded in all adjacent regions (Everts 1903; Libbrecht 1988; Köhler & Klausnitzer 1998; Lillig 1999; Soldati 2007; Thomaes et al. 2025), where it is not abundantly collected, possibly due to its minute body size. In Luxembourg, records are available only from the Guttland, but the species is expected to be widespread across the whole country.
