A System and Method for Geometrodynamic Material Analysis and Manipulation in a Mixed Reality Environment
Abstract A system and method for the analysis and active manipulation of a physical target object are disclosed. The system comprises a mixed reality (MR) device, a multi-modal sensor suite, and a processing unit. The system is configured to capture real-time physical data from the target object using the sensor suite. The processing unit executes a geometrodynamic modeling engine to construct a high-dimensional geometric model of the object's intrinsic state, termed a General Reality Manifold (GRM), from the captured data. A visual representation of the GRM is rendered as an interactive overlay, spatially registered with the physical object, within the MR environment. The system is further configured to translate user interactions with the virtual GRM overlay into control signals for one or more physical actuators, thereby enabling the user to modify the physical state of the real object by manipulating its geometric representation and closing a perception-action loop.
