A STUDY OF THE SPECIFIC HEAT AT CONSTANT VOLUME OF A SYSTEM OF NON-INTERACTING DIATOMIC MOLECULES IN THE PRESENCE OF AN EXTERNAL ELECTRIC FIELD
A system of non-interacting diatomic molecules gets perturbed when an electric field is switched on and shows different interesting thermodynamic properties. We study these properties, in particular, the specific heat at constant volume, for different temperature regimes.
