A System and Method for Interactive Geodesic Navigation and Collaborative Analysis of High-Dimensional Manifold Data
Abstract The present disclosure describes a system and method for the visualization, analysis, and interaction with high-dimensional data acquired from physical and biological systems, particularly through Magnetic Resonance (MR) imaging technologies. The system comprises an MR data acquisition device, a specialized Geometrodynamic Processing Unit (GPU) for data transformation and modeling, a gesture-based input system for user interaction, and an immersive, multi-sensory visualization interface. The disclosed method involves acquiring multi-modal physical data and algorithmically transforming it into a dynamic, 11-dimensional state-space representation, herein termed a General Reality Manifold (GRM). This manifold is subsequently rendered as a navigable, four-dimensional (three spatial dimensions plus one temporal dimension) interactive environment. The invention introduces novel user interaction paradigms, including Geodesic Navigation, which allows a user to intuitively explore probable future state trajectories within the data landscape, and Intersubjective Geodesic Alignment, which enables multiple users to collaboratively analyze the data within a single, computationally unified cognitive space. These methods allow for the intuitive exploration of complex data structures, the simulation of interventions, and the predictive analysis of a system's evolution, representing a fundamental advancement over prior art in data visualization and analysis.
