An IR-Complete Framework for Quantum Gravity in D-dimensions v1.1
Release Tag: v1.1 What's New in v1.1 This release marks the first major update to the DCT/QG framework, including the publication of the first core theoretical paper and a significant canonical update to the project's infrastructure. Publication of Paper I: This release includes the first paper in the series, "The Universal Interior Surface of Black Holes and the Derivation of the Transdimensional Constant." This paper provides the full, first-principles derivation of the theory's central constant, $\mathcal{T} = 1/(4\ln2)$, and the universal curvature trigger, $\mathcal{I}_{\mathrm{crit}} = 48\ln2$. Canonical Updates: The framework's notation and infrastructure have been finalized. This release includes: An updated Manifest (v1.1) with canonical symbols. The Canonical Preamble (dct_preamble.tex) for use in all papers. The master Bibliography files (dct_internal_references.bib and dct_external_references.bib). Elevator summary Here's the whole idea in one breath. Spacetime has a simple, local click rule. When a clean, dimensionless curvature gauge $$ \mathcal{I} \equiv K,L^{4} $$ hits a universal threshold $$ \mathcal{I}_{\mathrm{crit}} = 48 \ln 2 = \frac{12}{\mathcal{T}}, \qquad \mathcal{T}=\frac{1}{4\ln 2}, $$ spacetime performs a tiny snap: it deletes one null pair (pure geometry) and writes exactly one irreversible bit on a thin codimension-2 surface called the Ledger $\mathcal{L}$. That one bit grows the Ledger's entropy by $\ln 2$ and "costs" a universal area tick $$ \Delta \mathcal{A} = 4 \ln 2,\ell_{\mathrm P}^{2}. $$ Between snaps everything evolves just like ordinary GR+QFT, with $\mathcal{L}$ acting as a "springy" Robin boundary. This single rule knits together geometry, quantum mechanics, and thermodynamics; it prevents singularities, explains where black-hole records live, and leads to testable signatures (ringdown echoes), plus natural dark-sector stories. Introduction — the big picture This is the public v1.1 of the manifest for an IR-complete quantum-gravity framework that works in arbitrary $D$. It lays out the few principles you actually need: the invariant $\mathcal{I}=K L^{4}$, the Transdimensional Constant $\mathcal{T}=1/(4\ln 2)$, the snap (null-pair removal), and the thermo rule that at a snap the Ledger's entropy increase equals the payload, $$ \delta S_{\mathcal{L}}=\delta S_{\mathrm{info}}, \quad \text{so} \quad \Delta \mathcal{A} = 4 \ln 2,\ell_{\mathrm P}^{2}\ \text{per payload bit}. $$ In 4D this places the Ledger at $r_{\mathcal{L}}=\sqrt{\mathcal{T}},R_S$. The manifest also ties in the Infinity Bits and the focused Raychaudhuri update that keeps focusing finite. This series builds on and supersedes the original DCT thesis \cite{DCTQG-Thesis-Original}. The seed is the same "click rule," but here it becomes a complete, systematic framework with clean derivations, consistency checks, and concrete predictions. What's in this release The Manifest (PDF + LaTeX, v1.1): The updated source of truth for symbols and core equations. Paper I: Derivation of the Transdimensional Constant (PDF + LaTeX): The first core paper of the series. Canonical Preamble (dct_preamble.tex): A unified LaTeX preamble for all papers. Master Bibliography Files: dct_internal_references.bib and dct_external_references.bib. Key features and predictions (v1.1) Universal trigger (geometry): $\mathcal{I}=K L^{4}$ with $\mathcal{I}_{\mathrm{crit}}=48\ln2$. Ledger placement in 4D: $r_{\mathcal{L}}=\sqrt{\mathcal{T}},R_S$. Transdimensional thermodynamics (information): At a snap, capacity = payload $(\delta S_{\mathcal{L}}=\delta S_{\mathrm{info}})$; one payload bit costs $\Delta \mathcal{A} = 4\ln 2,\ell_{\mathrm P}^{2}$. Quiet phases (dynamics): Between snaps, fields evolve with an inner Robin boundary on $\mathcal{L}$: $(\partial_n+\mathsf{B})\psi\big|_{\mathcal{L}}=0$. Finite focusing (no singularity): A regulated Raychaudhuri equation that prevents the formation of caustics. Testable signatures: Gravitational-wave echoes with predictable delays/phases set by $r_{\mathcal{L}}$ and the boundary kernel $\mathsf{R}(\omega)$. Stable remnants as DM candidates; a smooth Ledger contribution behaving like DE. What's coming next (Updated Roadmap) Paper 0 (Motivation): A first-principles argument for the D -> D-2 axiom. Paper I: Derivation of $\mathcal{T}$ and $\mathcal{I}_{\mathrm{crit}}$ (This Release) Papers II–VII (Core Theory): NPR, TDT, Infinity Bits, Finite Focusing, Ledger Paradox, and the Master Equation. Papers VIII–XII (Phenomenology & Cosmology): Echoes, Tensor Networks, Dark Matter, Dark Energy, and Baryon Asymmetry. Papers XIII–XVI (Consistency, Foundations & Falsifiability): Radion Sequestering, the Measurement Problem, UV-Completion, and the Kill-Test Compendium. How to read this Skim the Manifest first (10–15 min). Then, read Paper I to see the full, rigorous derivation of the framework's foundational numbers. If the core ideas make sense, you're set to explore the rest of the series as it's released. Feedback & collaboration This is deliberately falsifiable. Open issues are welcome—questions, critiques, pull requests, or data challenges.
