Vitality Analysis and Strategy Research of Zhangye Historical Block Based on Multi-source Data

Historic district is an key carrier for showcasing the quality of urban space and highlighting vibrant features. Studying and enhancing the vitality of historic districts can effectively promote the sustainable development of cities. This paper takes the historical district of Zhangye City, Gansu Province as an research example, integrates multiple sources of information such as Baidu heat map and POI data, uses Arc- GIS tools to conduct visual analysis, and combines the current characteristics of the blocks to explore their vitality level and influencing factors in depth. The research results show that there is a positive correlation between urban POI elements and neighborhood vitality, and this element has a more significant impact on neighborhood vitality on weekdays; Among various POIs, shopping and consumption POIs have the strongest driving effect on neighborhood vitality. Based on the above analysis conclusions and combined with the analysis results and the characteristics of historical blocks, the corresponding vitality promotion strategies are proposed to provide scientific guidance for the vitality promotion of the same type of historical and cultural blocks.
