On 8-9 September 2025, the Open Science Festival was held at the University of Vienna, bringing together guests from research, academia and science support to discuss current topics. There were keynote speeches, workshops, poster sessions and lightning talks on Open Science & citizen science, AI-ready research data and political design strategies, plus lively discussions, including the challenges and 'dark side' of Open Science. EOSC SOA was represented with a poster and a pitch.
