APPLICATION OF VIRTUAL REALITY IN LEARNING MAHARAH KALAM ARABIC LANGUAGE

Arabic language learning continues to develop along with technological advances, especially in the application of Virtual Reality (VR)-based approaches. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using VR technology in improving students' speaking skills (maharah kalam). VR-Project Based Learning methods allow students to be directly involved in a simulation of a real Maharah Kalam environment, such as interacting in a market, classroom, or virtual discussion forum, which creates a contextual and participatory learning experience. The results of the study showed that this approach was able to improve fluency, self-confidence, and mastery of vocabulary and language structures in an oral context. In addition to these benefits, the main challenges faced are limited devices, minimal teacher training, and lack of relevant learning content. Therefore, the integration of VR technology in Arabic language learning requires support from various parties, including technology developers, educators, and educational institutions. In conclusion, VR-Project Based Learning has great potential in improving the quality of mastery of maharah kalam in the digital era.
