Nag Hammadi Library: the Complete Nomina Sacra Index

This paper provides an overview of all occurrences of the ligatures for "Jesus" and "Christ" that are present in the Nag Hammadi Library, including their variants and all their different forms: ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅, ⲓⲥ̅, ⲭⲣ̅ⲥ̅, ⲭⲥ̅, ⲭⲣⲏⲥⲧⲓⲁⲛⲟⲥ and ⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲓⲁⲛⲟⲥ, yet most importantly also 'Good' and 'Goodness': ⲭⲣⲏⲥⲧⲟⲥ and ⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲭⲣⲏⲥⲧⲟⲥ, as well as the creative versions of the latter, namely ⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲭⲣ̅ⲥ and ⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲭⲥ̅; in addition to that, all nomina sacra of the entire Nag Hammadi Library will be provided, including their leaf:line number and diplomatic line/text, and for each of those concise overviews will be presented: ⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ, ⲥ⳨ⲟⲥ, ⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ, (ⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ and ⲇⲁⲩⲉⲓⲇ), and ⲓⲉⲣⲟⲥⲟⲗⲩⲙⲁ.
