Conflict management in the pedagogical team
The article presents empirical data from a study on conflict in school pedagogical teams. The aim of the research was to identify the causes of conflicts within pedagogical teams and the attitudes of school managers towards conflict situations in educational institutions, as well as to develop their effective conflict management skills. The assumption underpinning the research - that if effective conflict management strategies are implemented within the pedagogical team, interactions and relationships among its members will be positively influenced, and the psychological climate will become favorable both for the employees' well-being and for their professional performance - was confirmed by comparing the data from the ascertaining experiment with the data obtained in the formative experiment.
