Therefore, using comprehensive sampling technique all English language teachers of Moyale Secondary School included in the study. The researcher implemented different communicative activities for the experiment in order to see students speaking ability improvement and used different statistical tools such as, descriptive, SPSS version 20 and paired sampled t-test to calculate the gathered data. The results revealed statistical difference between students’ speaking ability test before (M=2.35) and after learning through communicative activities (M=2.76).The study indicated that there is a significant relation between communicative activities and students speaking ability, since P value of 0.001 paired sample t-test<0.05.The observation checklist also confirmed that students had showed some progress (Mean of pretest=1.6) and (Mean of post-test= 3.5).The findings showed that the learners had positive attitudes to the implementation of communicative activities.. The study also revealed that the factors that affect the implementation of communicative activities related to teachers, students, exam systems and lack of supporting materials. The study provides practical recommendations for teachers, school administrators, local stakeholders, and policy makers to improve teachers training, and situational constraints to improve the implementation of communicative activities to improve students speaking skill.
