“Social Capital and Competency Formation in Refugee Communities.” This study explores the lived experiences of Kurdish refugees in Finland, shedding light on how identity, belonging, and resilience shape their journey of integration. Through personal narratives and the Listening Guide (LG) analysis method, the research uncovers stories of faith, resistance, and adaptation — voices too often overlooked in discussions about migration. I hope this work contributes to a more empathetic and informed understanding of refugee experiences and the social systems that influence their well-being.
