Vector files of the inventory of coastal structures in Mexico from 1995 to 2019 and erosion rates for Antón Lizardo, Veracruz from 2015 to 2025

This dataset includes vector files generated as part of a national inventory of coastal protection structures in Mexico for the years 1995 and 2019, and shoreline change analysis for Antón Lizardo, Veracruz, covering the period 2015–2025. The inventory comprises geospatial data of coastal structures such as groins, jetties, seawalls, ports, breakwaters, and piers, mapped along the Mexican coastline. The erosion and accretion rates for Antón Lizardo were derived using the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) to evaluate spatial and temporal trends of shoreline dynamics. All files are provided in shapefile format with their corresponding coordinate reference systems.
