Quantum Copy Time Hypothesis (QCTH)

The ΛCDM model faces profound theoretical challenges, notably the cosmological constant and cosmic coincidence problems. This work proposes a phenomenological alternative where dark energy emerges from a dynamical information scalar field, I(x), minimally coupled to geometry and matter. The framework is defined by only three parameters (λ_I, α_track, σ_kin). We demonstrate that a tracking attractor mechanism in the field's potential V(I, ρ_m) naturally yields the observed density ratio Ω_Λ/Ω_m ≈ 70/30 from a wide range of initial conditions, addressing the coincidence problem without fine-tuning. Crucially, the model remains consistent with Planck 2018 + BAO data while generating distinct, falsifiable predictions for the next decade: 1. Anisotropic quantum decoherence (ΔΓ/Γ_0 ~ 10^-6), testable with satellite quantum experiments (Micius-2).2. Oscillatory features in CMB E-mode polarization at ℓ ~ 3500, within the reach of CMB-S4.3. Temporal variation of the fine-structure constant (ḋα/α ~ 10^-18 yr^-1), a target for next-generation atomic clocks. We explicitly discuss the model's limitations, including its phenomenological nature and potential weak equivalence principle violations at η_WEP ~ 10^-15. This framework provides a concrete, testable target for upcoming experiments to confirm or rule out an information-based approach to dark energy.
