Recognising and Rewarding Open Science TU/e

This project aims to support inclusive, transparent, and diverse academic careers at TU/e by improving academic assessment processes and fostering better academic cultures. With funding from the Open Science NL grant (2024), the project encompasses three pillars: (1) developing a database of good practices in Open Science, (2) creating interventions for appointment advisory committees (BACs), and (3) building a vibrant internal and external community. As of September 2025, initial milestones have been reached: research for intervention development has been conducted and analyzed, collaborations have been set up, and key fall events have been conducted - including a kick-off event and pilot workshop for the training in development. The next steps include finalizing and piloting the training, continuing stakeholder engagement, and reporting on outcomes.
