THE EFFECTS OF VOCABULARY LEARNING STRATEGYTRAINNG ON STUDENTS, VOCABULARY LEARANING ACHIEVEMENT IN SECONDARY HIGHSCHOOL

<strong>Abstract: </strong>This preliminarily purpose of the thesisaimed at investigating the effects of vocabulary Lerning strategy trainig on studentas, vocabulary learning achievement in secondary high school with a specical focus ongrade 10 students. Theselected target population was 480 10th grade sections. Were deliberately selected out 0f 180 total sections to be studied in two soparative groups. The two Section I.e 10 th B and 10th Dwere distibctly selected Since they wre taught by the sme techer. This helped to minimize the data contamination. Then 30 students of Section B was Seleceted to be experimemental Group and the same number of section D were assigned to be controlled group. Subsiudiary. The data wasa collecete by using pre-and post tests, using adapeted Language lerrning strategy questionnaire of R .. Oxford (1989) SILL. and Battery (1989) AMTB about Learners attitude tovocabulary learning strategies trainings. The gathered data was analyzed and interprted using SPSS Version 20 packages on inependeny and paired t-test. Finally. The findings assured that the experimental group students were shown significant extent of improvement in their vocabulary Learning skill, in developing .At the end , the Recemmendation of the present study addressed language scholars ,researchers in the area ,curriculum designers, language teachers , and educational policy makers to give due attention towards fostering the provission of vocabulary Learning Strtegies trainings for enhancement of students understanding of Vocabulary Learning in Particular and for Learning all Language skills in general.
