PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS IN TEACHING PHYSICS AT TECHNICAL HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS
The article analyzes the principal challenges encountered in teaching physics at technical higher education institutions, identifies their underlying causes, and evaluates effective solutions. Drawing on international and national experience, it elucidates the scientific–theoretical foundations for modernizing physics education. The study substantiates that integrating active-learning approaches, a metrology-based (measurement) perspective, digital/virtual laboratories, and competency-based assessment systems is a decisive lever for improving the quality of engineering education.
