DESIGN AND OPTIMIZATION OF POLYMERIC NANOPARTICLE FOR TARGETED DELIVERY OF PACLITAXEL IN BREAST CANCER TREATMENT
ABSTRACT The present work was aimed to design polymeric nanoparticles for targeting the release of Paclitaxel (PTL)in breast cancer. Due to least solubility, permeability and stability issues of PTL it is quite challenging to formulate as novel liquid dosage formulation. Solvent evaporation was the method used to create PTL Polymeric nanoparticles. Different ratios of surfactant and drug polymer are used to make the formulations. PTL Characterized in-vitro drug release, surface shape, drug excipient compatibility, particle size, and release kinetics for the produced nanoparticles. The formulation with the best encapsulation efficiency was (F-6) a drug encapsulation effectiveness of up to 90.20% has been attained in this study. It was shown that when the polymeric content increased, it also improved the encapsulation efficiency. The drug release characteristics for each preparation tested in vitro suggested a rapid action at first, subsequently followed by a steady release. The results of this experiment show that an alcohol evaporating technique combined with optimal dimension of particles ultrasound, produced a dosage form that was effective in producing PTL Polymeric nanoparticles.
